After many years in the music industry as a photographer and then as a photo-journalist, Roz de-Layen Vian  formed Photos-4-Bands in 2007, working the local gigs in the South West, including  The Old Duke Blues and Jazz fest and   promotional work for The Perfect 5th and Port Erin.

Stuart Atkinson met Roz through her camera club when he expressed an interest in gig photography, and together they later formed a breakaway group: www.westonphotographers.co.uk a small group of professional photographers, which they run with Martin Elswood and Martyn Hares.

This has enabled Stuart and Roz to pursue their gig photography which has led to a great working partnership attending many gigs in and around the South West, including Bristol, Exeter, Gloucester, Frome and the smaller towns in between.

They had the pleasure of photographing Eddie Martin at the Bristol Jazz Fest and Port Erin, providing promo photography in preparation for their Glastonbury appearance in June 2010. 

Some of the new acts that they are looking forward to photographing this year are Audio Razor, a massively successful Exeter based Reggae Band; Steve Reid Williams, a hugely talented musician destined for major success (check out his latest album, Magnolia Love); Andy Crowdy, one of the UK's best loved jazz musicians; Virgil & the Accelerators, an exciting new blues band; and Clare Free, who, with her award winning music also plays some mean blues!  Please Google them all and listen to them on MySpace.
